Stairlifts start at $5,495 for the Bruno Elan and $7,745 for the Bruno Elite. Curved stairlifts are priced after a site survey. Vertical platform lifts start at $18,000 and home elevators start at $45,000. For lifts, we send a quote first and then schedule a site survey to set the final price.

Does Medicare or insurance cover this?

Medicare doesn't cover home modifications like showers, stairlifts or lifts. In Michigan, though, a physician's prescription can make a stairlift purchase sales-tax exempt. That exemption covers the stairlift itself, not service, parts, showers or bathroom modifications.
